Sustainability targets and green building certifications depend on one fundamental thing: reliable data. Yet much of the information needed to understand the materials entering a project and the waste leaving it still originates in fragmented, inconsistent site records.
This session explores why construction data quality matters and how accurate, structured materials and waste data can give teams greater confidence in measuring and demonstrating sustainability performance. We’ll explore how better site data can support embodied carbon measurement, waste reduction, responsible sourcing, and green building certifications like LEED v5 and ILFI Zero Carbon, while helping teams identify opportunities to improve environmental outcomes throughout construction.
