Participants will receive a high-level overview of certification systems used across the Americas, the European Union, and Asia, and how they are adapted to local conditions.
Through practical case studies, the session shows how local certifications can meet or exceed benchmarks commonly associated with global schemes across key metrics such as energy, carbon, and resilience, while supporting net zero pathways. It also introduces how Climate Bonds Initiative certification proxies can streamline eligibility assessments and reduce transaction complexity without compromising environmental credibility.
The webinar concludes by situating these tools within the Climate Bonds Standards framework, illustrating how credible local pathways can accelerate market adoption while maintaining transparency and comparability.
